Favorite Turkey Vegetable Stew

Things You Will Need
2 turkey legs
1 pkg of chicken livers/gizzards
Assorted vegetables – 4 cups of any of the following vegetables or fruits, finely chopped.
Cook the liver and legs by boiling them for about ninety minutes.
The next step is to remove the meat from the broth and let it cool. Save the broth. Then debone the meat. Discard the bones. Be sure to remove all the bones. Dogs like the gristle so be sure to not throw it away.
Store the mixture in a container with a good seal.
Store the broth in the refrigerator overnight. Remove the fat when it is completely cooled.
Add the vegetables/fruit to the broth. Boil the vegetable/fruit mixture for 20-30 minutes. Store the mixture in a container with a good seal.
Feed the dog about ½ cup meat mixture and 1 ½ cups vegetable/fruit mixture for each 20 pounds. Split this quantity into at least two different meals to reduce blood sugar spikes.
Many dogs will also need a good multivitamin. Ask your veterinarian. I give my dog her vitamins with her meals.
