Meatloaf For Dogs
Posted by Sally Ann Cavanaugh
1 ½ pounds ground turkey
1 cup milk
½ cup shredded or finely chopped vegetables (carrots, broccoli, green beans, corn, potatoes, squash or zucchini)
1 cup dried bread crumbs
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoons mustard
½ cup ketchup
Dogs love meatloaf too. So make this easy recipe and give them a piece as a special treat.
There are no ingredients in this recipe that you cannot eat also, so make it a meal for two (you and your dog).
Candles and a fancy table cloth on the table will be wasted on your dog. They don’t really care about them.
Step one – preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step two – in large mixing bowl – add 1 ½ pounds ground turkey, 1 egg, 1 cup milk, ½ cup vegetables, 1 cup dried bread crumbs (not the highly seasoned kind), 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon mustard, and ½ cup ketchup.
Step three – bake at 350 degrees for about one hour. Let this cool thoroughly before sharing a piece with your dog.
This meatloaf can easily be frozen for use at a later date. My dogs just love this meatloaf.
